Horton Grand Hotel San Diego

Fairly clean hotel with a nice design and pleasant views, it has the best possible location so close to the Gaslamp Quarter, bus stop. I loved the property overall.

Everything was perfect, had an excellent stay at a hotel with character. I went to a good restaurant and truly enjoyed the local dishes.

The hotel is spacious and fairly clean with a great restaurant, I had a really comfortable stay. I loved the room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The food was outstanding, had lots of options.

Everything met the criteria, had a GOOD stay at such a historical and beautiful hotel. We loved rooms and atmosphere and good prices. Everything was very clean and within 10 minutes' drive of San Diego International airport.

Appreciated to be here, the hotel was clean and cozy, the location was exceptional close to everything. The room was ideal, had beautiful bathroom and particularly nice views to enjoy.

The hotel is a little one, it offers light breakfasts and ideal location close to everything. The staff is courteous, offer a friendly check-in and late check-out.

The venue is luxurious and stylish, its location is best possible, next to all the bars, the night life and many pubs.

A really amazing way to end my weekend. Absolutely perfect location, exceptionally attentive staff, a huge variety of food for the full English breakfast. The room was regular double and well heated, plus the bed was good. Fast check-in, easy check-out.

Views were not bad.

Beautiful historical venue, cosy bar area, absolutely perfect location very close to many bars & eateries.

The room was marvelous, the bed was great, the service was good! Worth mentioning staff, were more than helpful, good value. There was a continental breakfast, it included cereals, milk, bread, pastries and jam. The jazz bar in the hotel had plenty of refreshing wines and spirits throughout the day.

Amazing room with very comfy bed, magnificent location. Its personnel was informative and courteous, no complaints whatsoever. Well-kept hotel located so close to main attractions of San Diego, nice restaurants and the marina, the local nightclub.

The staff was fast, affordable food served for breakfast. We appreciated the local beach near our hotel. Again, it was at a near distance from seaport village shopping complex and other sights in San Diego. Clean place and nice service.

great value, really good stuff and perfect beds. the meal was superb and silverware and plates where provided. nice interior, intimate restaurant. cold wines, tea, whiskies and coffee in the sports bar, great parking place.

Beautiful location close to everything, and 10 minute walk from san diego convention center.

It was reasonably priced, compared to other old-style hotels. The beds were nice and the king room itself was very specious and warm enough. And close enough to main attractions of San Diego, restaurants and Petco park the Padres home baseball team.

Fabulous lake views, decent food. We booked a queen room, it was designer and tasteful.

Though the staff we met were very unpleasant, we loved the hotel.

Comfortable stay in the pretty quiet area. Excellent and comfy rooms, absolutely gorgeous hotel. Very central location, just a short stroll away from Seaport Village Shopping Complex. Our room had a spacious bed and an incredibly beautiful view. There was plenty of food, in general it was exceptional.

Location was marvellous, room was very large, great value. Greatly enjoyed the cocktail bar. Small balcony was a bonus. Thanks again to valet, you rock! The hotel created a really nice environment...

We liked staying in the place thanks to staff and rooms. Our grand room was good size and had a mini-kitchen. Popped in The Field Irish Pub for shots before sleep, it was just a short stroll away from the venue.

Staff and rooms were NICE. Just a 20-minute stroll to the center. Extremely comfortable bed. Plus, private parking nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed it, its location and rooms. The downtown is within 20 minutes' walk. You can relax at The Field Irish Pub, located nearby.

the downstairs bar onsite. our room was quiet. we came to san diego for one night, can't find anything wrong for this hotel.
